Lavender2

Essential oils are known with their exceptional aromas and endless uses. Experts advice us to put a drop of lavender oil on our pillow if we have sleeping troubles at night. The application of essential oils, however, is much wider. You can easily include some of them in your home cleaning. Those liquids can do more than spreading a nice smell around the house. You can also include your children by letting them help you, because the following recipes for cleaning, that include a number of essential oils, are completely safe for them, unlike those bought from the store that are full of chemicals.

Of course, some of the oils are more effective than others and they are used for different things. But one thing should be clear, they are all safer and antibacterial. They will help you fight against mold, germs and annoying spots on various surfaces. Let’s have a look at the following ideas.

Lemon is very good at cleaning stains of all kinds – even professionals like Deptford Happy Clean Services use it. If your child has some felt-tipped marks on his or her clothes, apply a few lemon essential oil drops and salt over them and give them a good rub, then wash them as you normally do. It also helps with blood stains, dirt and rust. If you want to clean your kitchen counters, dip half a lemon in baking soda and use it as a sponge over them. Your child will enjoy doing this! Then use a wet towel to remove the unpleasant sticky feeling and dry them.

Mold is a very stubborn and unpleasant problem that many people are facing. The detergents one can find in stores always have a bad smell and are quite toxic. In order to remove it easily, without spending money on the above mentioned detergents, mix a tea spoon of clove oil with a cup of vinegar and a tablespoon of Glycerin. Spray the mold and leave it like that for 15 minutes. Then use a wet towel to clean the spot.

If you want to have the cleanest windows in the neighborhood, do the following: Mix hot water and vinegar (in a proportion of one to one) and add Lavender oil and Lemon grass oil, 10 drops each, spray it on the windows and sue an old newspaper to remove the drops and make them shine. You can also use it on mirrors of all kinds.

To clean your toilet with the help of essential oils, you need two cups of water, ¼ cup of Castile soap, 1 table spoon of Tea tree essential oil and 10 drops of Eucalyptus and Peppermint oils. Spread the mixture over the inside of the toilet and leave it like that for 20 minutes before flushing. You will be dazzled by the cleanness afterwards!

And just like that your entire house will shine. The usage of essential oils is highly preferable because it is all natural, antibacterial, and antiseptic.
