The Little Mouse That Could Inspire – By Arl’s World
Molly sat there staring at her computer. Blink, blink, went the cursor, how would she ever finish the book on time? She glanced up at the clock nervously, her deadline was fast approaching. She needed motivation, inspiration …but what? How?
Molly got up, wandering aimlessly around the tiny apartment. She walked into her daughter’s room, absent-mindedly she looked around. There on the desk set Meagan’s mouse. She remembered fondly the day she bought the mouse for Meagan, such a good day, good memories! Suddenly, she knew how the book would end.

Happy Writing!
That’s great she was able to get inspiration from a computer mouse!

It made me wonder where is Meagen now. Did something happen to her? Now, I’m wondering how the book is going to end. This is a real cliffhanger.

Ah, I am glad I could pique your curiosity! Meagan is fine, she is at school. Yes, there is room to continue the story …lot’s of possibilities here. To bad it wasn’t more than 100 words. 😉 Thank you for stopping by!

It doesn’t matter where inspiration comes from as long as it works. Great take.

Isn’t it amazing how remembering one happy experience from our past at just the right time can make all the difference in our future? A very interesting take on the prompt, Arlene.
My sister would love your flashing Eiffel Tower. She loves Paris and goes every chance she gets.

Thank you so much Sandra for your comment! I appreciate you stopping by. You never know what in our past can shape our future. Yes, I agree with your sister about Paris. I have always been fascinated with Paris, although I have never been. Maybe one day …bucket list item! 🙂 Thanks so much for commenting!
