Handmade Gifts of Love

Today’s Daily Prompt:  Handmade Tales – Automation has made it possible to produce so many objects — from bread to shoes — without the intervention of human hands (assuming that pressing a button doesn’t count). What things do you still prefer in their traditional, handmade version?

For me nothing beats Handmade gifts

Through the years my two sons have made me many handmade gifts …all beautiful and made with love.  To me these gifts are treasured works of art and can not be replaced, nor bought in any store.  Each gift is carefully crafted with skill and love. I display them proudly or keep them in a safe, special place.  When looked upon they bring joy, pride and beautiful memories.  Each gift tells a story of that particular day and what it meant to me.  To me this is priceless …

A few of my beloved treasures.  🙂

  1. I can see why you love those hand-made gifts so much. They look beautiful and have a humorous edge to them too. Certainly something to make one’s eyes fill with joy every time they find them.

    • Thank you so much! Yes, nothing compares …I enjoy looking at them always. The little ceramic one is a dragon, although when first given to me …well, I was not sure! Haha 😉
