How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
~Satchel Paige
Have you ever thought about how old would you be if you didn’t know? I am sure at one point in your life you have taken one of those test that supposedly test your true age. They base it on your health; your eating habits, how much you drink or smoke, exercise etc. But how old do you really feel? I guess for me this is a little harder to answer than I thought. I know mentally, that I feel much younger than my real age. I have always thought that I have a young soul. Some days, physically, I feel much younger as well. But then there are those days when I move a little slower and things just don’t feel the same as they did when I was younger. I know I have a few more creaks and pops in the joints than I use to. For the most part I would probably say I am younger than my true age, if I didn’t know. I know of another quote that holds pretty true. “You are only as young as you feel.” How old do you feel today?

Since I just spent the past two hours moving our office from one suite to another, I’d say that I feel about 85 years old right now, haha. On a regular day, I feel just about my age (minus the fact that I look like a 16 year old). Most people think I’m between the ages of 12 and 20 by looking at me, but after speaking with me they think I’m in my thirties.

Good question. Today my heart feels about 65 (ready to retire), my body feels 40 (a little older than my age – darn chronic diseases!). I look like I am still about 18, and my sense of humor is still around 10 (going on 36). Whatever way you age it, I am choosing to be happy today!

Hi Arlene!
You stopped by my blog, so I thought I’d see what you’re writing about for the A to Z Challenge, and I gotta say, I like this one!
Mentally and physically, I can feel both young and old, depending on how much stress I put on myself. It’s all about perception, isn’t it? Even when you tax your body beyond its limits, if you get sidetracked and forget about you tiredness, you feel better. Same goes for things weighing down your mind.
Anyhoo, I’m a follower now! Excited to learn more about you and share in your adventures!
Best regards,
Elizabeth
